Columbia, SC (WLTX) - There aren't many places people go without their smartphones, including the bathroom.
A new study says 75 percent of Americans admit to using their smartphones while on the toilet.
The study shows men and women are pretty much equal when it comes to this unsanitary activity. Texting while on the toilet is most popular amoung 28 to 35 year olds.
One in 5 men admit to taking it a step further by phoning into business meetings from the bathroom.
News19 went out to the streets to get people's opinion on the subject, and you can see the results in the video attached to this article.
