Colerain Township, Ohio -- A 60-year-old man is accused of causing his girlfriend's breast implant to burst during a weekend attack.
Samuel Cole is held on $50,000 bond at the Hamilton County jail. He faces one count of felonious assault.
According to court documents, Cole and his girlfriend argued about 11 a.m. Sunday at a residence in Colerain Township. Cole punched her in the face, choked her and stomped her, breaking her breast implant.
Her injuries were described as "serious," but further details were not immediately available.
Cole has an extensive criminal history in, court records show. In the last decade, he has been arrested several times and convicted of theft and soliciting.
He faced charges such as assault, domestic violence and other thefts, but those charges were ultimately dismissed. In the domestic violence case, he was accused of beating a woman with a weight in September 2004. He also allegedly threatened to kill her by cutting her with a razor, she said in a sworn statement.
