Demi Moore arrives at the 82nd Annual Academy Awards, March 7, 2010.

Demi Moore's friend who called 911 describes the actress as barely conscious and convulsing, in the 911 call released Friday.

The caller says Moore smoked something before she was rushed to the hospital on Monday night. The woman on the call also says the actress was "burning up" and having convulsions.

Though the call was edited to remove any personal information about her medical condition,  the caller on the tape tells emergency operators that Moore had been "having issues lately."

It had been previously reported by TMZ that Moore was rushed to the hospital Monday after having a bad reaction to inhaling nitrous oxide. A rep for Moore said Tuesday that she is "seeking professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health."

The 49-year-old actress released a statement in November announcing she had decided to end her marriage to Ashton Kutcher following news of alleged infidelity.
