Tampa, Florida - It only takes one glance at Jane Geddings to know she is a dancer. She walks across the floor at the All American Dance Factory in Tampa with grace and elegance.
Geddings has been an instructor at The All American Dance Factory for 7 years.
This summer she is teaching some of the youngest dancers the fancy footwork she’s learned over the past 25 years.
Geddings says dancing brings her so much joy and it’s something she want’s these little girls to embrace.
Girls as young as 3 years old are tapping and she also points outs that her young students are learning much more than rhythm.
Dancing can also boost a young girls self esteem and confidence.
Geddings says she has seen girls who are shy and unsure leave her class poised and confident.
Even the parents are amazed by the progress they’ve seen in their children.
Geddings insists there are no wrong moves and that inside each one of us there is a dancer yearning to get out.
