DURANGO, CO - The Durango teenager whose senior portrait was deemed inappropriate has taken a new picture: a mug shot.

Sydney Spies and her mother Denise "Miki" Spies were arrested late Sunday night after Durango Police broke up an alleged underage drinking party at their home.

The Durango Herald reports that Miki Spies ran into her home when officers tried to ask her questions, she allegedly tried to keep police out of the house and struggled with officers when they tried to arrest her.

The elder Spies was arrested on suspicion of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, obstruction of a police officer and resisting arrest, according to the Herald.

Her 18-year-old daughter faces a single charge of obstructing a police officer.

Police told the Herald they found a keg of beer, liquor and cups filled with alcoholic drinks inside the Spies' home.

Spies and her daughter were flown to New York to appear on the Today show last school year after Sydney's year book photo submissions were declared too racy to print.

The publicity landed her a small role in a SyFy network film that is set to air on Halloween.

Spies declined comment Monday evening but posted on her Facebook page earlier in the day, "I just love being targeted."
