Clearwater, Florida -- WorkNet Pinellas is offering young workers a new way to find a job.
The job training and placement agency is hosting a virtual job fair for young workers between the ages of 14 and 24 from May 15th to the 24th.
Although the job fair is being conducted by WorkNet Pinellas, any potential employee in the Tampa Bay area could find their perfect job. WorkNet is joining forces with Tampa Bay WorkForce Alliance, Career Central and Suncoast Workforce to post jobs in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando, Sarasota and Manatee Counties.
Employers looking for summer hires, recent high school or college graduates or experienced workers are asked to post the jobs on WorkNet's website.
Once the website goes live, potential employees can look through available positions and submit their resumes or apply for jobs.
WorkNet is asking employers to consider creating jobs--even a temporary opening or internship--to help students or young workers explore a potential career.
This is the fourth virtual job fair for WorkNet. Last summer's had 1500 job seekers and 125 employers.
