Temperatures are starting off on a cool note this morning under mainly clear skies. Temperatures are in the lower 60s for many areas in northern Hernando and Citrus counties so some fog is possible in those areas.
Skies will be mostly sunny today and temperatures will warm to the low 90s. There will be a nice breeze today from the NE-ENE at about 10-15 mph. The dry airmass in place will be gradually giving way to more humidity by the latter half of this work week. That will gradually lead to better rain chances headed toward the weekend. We will stay dry today, then slowly introduce a stray shower each day this week leading up to a 30-40% chance by the weekend.
Today: Skies will remain mostly sunny today with only a few clouds this afternoon. There will be a comfortable wind out of the ENE 10-15 mph with a high of 92.
Tonight: Mainly clear skies and another comfortable once again with a low of 74. Winds will be light from the E.
Marine Forecast: Winds ENE 10-15 kts, seas averaging 2-3' with the higher readings offshore. There will be a moderate chop on the bay.
