I am absolutely thrilled to be covering sports on Florida's amazing Gulf Coast!
I joined the 10 News Sports Department as the Weekend Sports Anchor and Weekday Sports Reporter in June of 2011 and have worked all over the country. I came to 10 News from Charlotte, North Carolina where I was a Sports Anchor and Host covering The NFL, NBA, PGA and NASCAR. Before Charlotte I was a Sports Director in South Carolina and Minnesota, and I started my TV career as a reporter in Colorado Springs.
I was born in The Bronx, NY which makes me a big Yankees fan, but grew up mostly in Colorado, graduating from the University of Colorado with a degree in Communication. Go Buffaloes!!!
I feel so lucky to be able to watch, talk and write about sports for my career and so far it has been a wonderful journey! I am a die-hard sports fan and when people ask me my favorite sport I always have a hard time deciding. I think I would have to say it's Baskfootbasekey... if that makes sense.
In my free time I like to hang out with my darling Basset Hound Josie. I also love working out, cooking, wine collecting and going to the beach. I like to think I'm half girly-girl and half jock because I love throwing around the football, shooting hoops and playing league softball, but I'm also addicted to fashion and art.
